The weather had been really nice all week, and after I finished work I decided to do a quick hike up Kakiat. I parked in the parking lot, crossed the Mahwah River bridge, and took the Mountain Trail up to the first viewpoint. At the viewpoint I bushwacked northeast towards the Kakiat Trail, meeting it near the gas line. I took the Kakiat Trail down all the way back to the parking lot.
