I was in Florida for a visit and went to this area for a break from the urban area. This is a natural scrub area of shrub and grassy areas in a sandy zone close to the beach surrounded by an urban area, south of West Palm Beach. There are also prickly pear cactus in the sand reminiscent of a desert. I walked the full loop trail from one side to the other, passing by the pond and pine forest during the walk.
