All the lakes in the area were frozen from the prolonged deep freeze. I headed out to Lake Welch upon leaving work for the weekend on Friday, a 10 minute drive from my work. I parked in the winter parking area by the boat launch, and walked down the path to the Frozen Lake at the boat launch. I walked to all the islands, and then walk across to the east by the abandoned structure, and then turned around and went back.
